Not sure how many people here like to hit the occasional dirt/fire road but we have a good tire option now. Pirelli has a 95% road 5% off road tire available in our size, the Pirelli Scorpion Trail. This is a dual compound tire and has plenty of rubber on the sides for the street and a somewhat agressive tread down the center. From what I hear grips well on and off road as well as lasting around 10k (In the new sizes). This is also the oem tire on the new tiger 800 (non xc) and the Ducati Multistrada.
