Odd problem, every now and then she'll drop out of second gear.
It did it before with the factory shifter, and still does it occasionally.
I've adjusted the shifter link to give it a more positive shift but the problem persists.
It happens when just commuting, and it'll happen when I'm out playing and it's under load.
It's once or twice a month max, and I use it every day.
It's not a huge issue, just wondering if anyone else had struck this?

It's happened to me twice, and both times it was near the time to do an oil change. Both times I changed the oil, and tried replicating and could not get it to happen again. What type of oil do you use?

Will do, I'll need to pick up some oil for the Duc anyway.
Ta for that, didn't suspect the oil at all!

I have not had this sort of thing on my D675, but the old Ninja would keep popping out of gear when the oil change was almost due. I suspect the manufacturers have put this in as like a reminder to service the bikes. :biggrinjester: Hahaha.

10-40 Amsoil
And it's close to change time too…
That's what I run as well. As soon as Michigan starts to thaw I gotta change my oil and a few other things. God I hate winter...and snow...
