2009 Daytona 675. Cranks, but no start. Believe the CPS has failed. Testing the resistance I can only get it to read when I put my meter into auto range
The measurement I get is ~2.5 M. Am I correct in that is reading 2.6 million?
Thank you all. Another question as it may be related. For the year leading up to this, I have been getting minor flickering of my lights & dash when at idle. The charging system was fine the last time I checked, producing at least 14v running, but 13.5 or so at idle. . Im guessing the stator is weak? I think I will replace the whole assembly
Best thing to do is check the stator output at idle and about 5k rpm on all 3 phases. If the output there is good, then it's likely your RR. Also make sure it's not just a matter of a loose battery terminal before you start chasing parts.
