So I have an 06 675 and I am wondering if I have to use the OEM bolts for the ram air connection to the frame and the light housing? Added pics below!

With the pandemic the production of parts is at an all time low so looking to find alternatives.

No need for OEM. You can use whatever fits.

In non-critical applications use whatever fits. What's the worst that can happen? In this case your headlight assembly would maybe vibrate a bit if a bolt broke. Even that's unlikely.

Not sure on these Daytona's but most bikes use a 'tongued washer' to lock down the ram air to frame bolts. I'd avoid skipping those if possible. Link has photo.
