Happy New Year all.
I was hoping you all could tell me what is supposed to sit in the circled area and if the holes are stock (arrowed) or drilled after. I have two of these trays and the 2011 doesnt have holes but this is from a 2012 ( I needed a new subframe and it came with it) and it does. Any pics of your battery tray area would be extremely helpful as well in getting this bike back to spec. Thank you

I think the optional alarm electronics would go there. Here's a pic from a '12 675R that I bought as a recovered theft. It's a mess at this point as the thieves spray painted it heavily.

The plug you see is for the alarm system, but this bike doesn't have the alarm system. Plug is in the way of where some of your holes are so can't tell for sure if they're drilled or OEM holes

I currently have a 765 so can't send a better pic.

This is helpful and looks like one of the holes is OEM. Congrats on the 765. Great bike

The 2011 I have has 1 hole as well and this 2012 has multiple. I saw another on Ebay that has the same amount so I'm thinking it's OEM but cant figure what they are/were for

They're just to let water and dirt fall out.
