Had the rep in today trying to get us to sell his batteries. They look the part and sound idea. Only problem is I'm no expert but I know the Tona is funny when it comes to batteries so can someone in the know cast their eye over the specs below and say if we need the 6 or 8 cell? I know the 4 cell one will do a race bike no probs, not sure about a road bike with headlights on.

Are these similar to the Ballistic lithium-Iron-phosphate batteries? If so I read on their site that they recommend 4 cell for race use and 8 cell for street use for the Daytona 675.

Handbook indicates 7Ah spec for D675 battery. 8 cell spec is 5.2Ah and 12 cell is 7.8Ah, so for road use probably would have to go for 12 cell.

Yup.

I've been running an 8 cell A123 system for the past year or so. A 4 cell would definitely not start my bike (maybe if it's 99F outside).

Just want to save some other people the trouble!
