Hey, sorry I didn't see this for a bit. But yeah -- freaking love this bike. If I keep it long-term, it will probably turn into a mostly track-bike, but to be honest, it just does everything well. I can't wait for the weather to get warm so I can really push it. But more than 2k miles so far, and no complaints at all.@tnr4 - btw, enjoying the 300? I was thinking about trying to get my dad into riding and think that might be just the right bike. Plus I'd get to enjoy it a little!
No prob. Thanks for the update! I use to own a '09 ninja 250 for a couple years and really liked hooning around on it. Now I did have to tinker with the carbs a bit to get the fueling just right. I can imagine the FI on the 300 provides for better throttle response throughout the revs.Hey, sorry I didn't see this for a bit. But yeah -- freaking love this bike. It sure does. The fueling is damn near perfect. A couple of companies have released aftermarket A/F controllers, and they really aren't able to do much better than stock. And of course, it's nice to know that you can just load a new map when you want to throw on a new exhaust or air filter. AreaP is looking to get 40+HP to the rear wheel with their race exhaust and pod filters. Pretty cool for such a little bike! Oh yeah, and my last tank got 61mpg, even getting stuck in DC traffic! :cool2:No prob. Thanks for the update! I use to own a '09 ninja 250 for a couple years and really liked hooning around on it.
