Wandering who's going and if anyone can suggest places to look for gear at good prices there. (Tank bag, cover, stand, jackets, etc)
Also would like to know of any reasonably priced hotels that the bike will be safe at, or you can roll it in the room.

I doubt you will find much of that type stuff. Even at bike week the only sportbike gear to be found is typically at the race track. Everything down town is geared towards the cruiser/Harley crowd.

I know I'm close to Daytona but I may not go unless I can be sure it's worth my time. Not into the party scene and I'm married so don't need any of the other either. lol :grouphug2:
Might go to see some racing though. My first race was at Daytona. Not a good place to start. I thought I was MTNrider the first time I came out of the infield and saw the banking. lol Something ain't right about a noob like me on the same track in practice with Bubba Shobert and Kevin Shwantz! :notworthy: Oops showed my age.

Is there a good place online where I can buy all my gear and know I'm getting a good deal and good service?

You would be surprised at the amount of different vendors out there. I went 2 years ago with a buddy and it was nice and warm there. On the way back it was freezing. I turned around after about 10mins and found a great little start up leather company and got a beautiful full leather jacket with armor in the back,shoulders,arms for $180. Try to beat that price. This is no junk, hand made nice leather jacket looks like an old school 70's racer jacket. I love wearing it.
