I took my 675 to get new tires put on that I supplied, Pilot Power 2CT's, at a local bike shop. For a month now, the front tire pressure has a slow leak down that I believe is coming from the valve stem core. I sprayed soapy water on the edge of the tire all the way around the rim as well as the valve stem opening itself. It's very very slow but it is leaking from the valve stem opening, the core. Now to the question, whew, can I change out the valve stem core without worry of breaking the bead on the front tire? The bike is kept in our living room and I do not have a front stand at the moment. It is a simple and inexpensive fix but am unsure of the results on a mc tire bead.
I can just swap the old for the new without having to lift or remove the wheel right?

The shop isnt open today and I would like to deal with this on my own if possible, I don't like bike molesters

No worries. If you remove it, you'll just run it flat but the bead won't be affected. It might even be the core just isn't tightened all the way. If you have the core tool, you might be able to see if its just loose.
