I think Stoner will do the deed, this year. When he's on, he's on. He has extra motivation to prove his ability against the others. He'll definitely shut up the pundits.

If it weren't for all the goings on, last year, Lorenzo wouldn't have had such an easy time of it; not that his riding wasn't accomplished or riding a MotoGP bike is easy. I just think there were a lot of distractions with silly-season and some unfortunate track incidents.

Well it looks like Honda has dominated the Sepang testing, with #11 (3rd fastest) being the only non-Honda in the top 6. Can't say this really thrills me to be honest. Something about Pedrosa just rubs me the wrong way and Stoner ... INCREDIBLE talent, but a bit of a whiny baby, IMO.

I think Vale will be especially hungry this year. Not only to prove himself on a new bike (just as someone else mentioned about Stoner), validating his decision to move to Ducati, but also to thumb his nose at his former teammate. Just to kinda say, "You may have won last year when I wasn't 100%, but it won't be so easy this time around." Of course I also expect to see Ben consistently on the podium or fighting for it, but I'm not sure I'm ready to pick him for a Championship just yet. Maybe next year ... ;)

Oh, I'm also hoping Vale's efforts on developing the GP11 will spill over to Nicky's side of the garage ... since there's no wall separating the two and Rossi has vowed to share data. Anyway, looking forward to a good season!

People say that about him, but, he's a very quiet person who's conscientious of what the press say about him. I think he allows too much to get under his skin. One of the forum members has been his taxi driver/rider at a MotoGP event and said that he's a truly genuine and caring person. I'd rather spend time around him than almost any other GP rider. I think Nicky would be a good time, too.

I think Rossi will have trouble with his shoulder atleast for a couple of races. Stoner's gonna win Qatar..

Spies - Top 4(or 5) finish..
At least when Rossi has a tough time this season he'll have 2 things to blame it on... Shitty Ducati for one and his shoulder "hurting" as the other.

How have we managed to get this far into the thread without Old Dave chiming in regarding the vast superiority of all things Spanish, and predicting a 2011 walkover by Lorenzo ....

.... followed by his marriage to Lorenzo in a quiet private ceremony on the outskirts of Barcelona?

Does anyone else feel Lorenzo using his initials in his #1 plate come off as cocky/brash?? It is really starting to bug me:thumbdown:. I like he's running the #1 plate, but his logo is over the top.
I agree with Faz, Rossi will start the season slow due to the shoulder, but I believe he will come on strong the second half of the season. Spies will win at least one this year and finish ahead of Nicky in the points. Barring injuries from any of the aliens I think this will be the closest finish of the top 3 places and would not be surprised if it comes down to the final race for the title:trophy:,
