Built using the best, full grain bovine leather that Alpinestars can find, the Missile Ignition Leather Jacket provides world-class impact protection with high levels of abrasion resistance. It looks the business, too!

Said leather is 1.3mm thick and expertly sewn into place using double and triple-seam construction as needed for maximum durability and crash resistance. Between those segments of perforated, but protective leather, large leather accordion stretch panels are employed to avoid that straight-jacket feeling. Where impact and abrasion aren't of concern on the inner sleeves, Alpinestars-formulated High Resistant Stretch Fiber (HRSF) panels are used to further improve riding and off-the-bike comfort. Sleeves are pre-curved for reduced riding fatigue and comfort on the bike.

Armor is well placed in the arms and shoulders with GP-R CE-certified protectors. You can further upgrade the jacket with Nucleon padding in the chest and back compartments as well. And no premium riding jacket would be complete without a back hump. This one, of course, is sculpted for better airflow and performance at high speed.
