If we're going to ride Ortega twice and we're all prettymuch from IE why don't we just take the 15 South down to Ortega so that way it's less freeway and we get to the fun stuff quicker

What's the rush? I didn't make the route...
haha well to be honest, freeway miles bore me. Also when one rides on a budget, miles+oil changes+gas+wear&tear add up and I like to make every mile count

Ok makes sense. I'm honestly pretty stoked for this I have yet to hit Ortega with this bike because it's impossible for me to get my one friend that rides, to get off his ass and RIDE

Hey man...well...if you don't mind riding slow, I can ride with you. I'm not a fast rider because my skills just aren't there yet. Destination unnecessary.

I work from home so I make my own schedule. Sometimes I take the bike out and ride out somewhere to get lunch....ride up and down Temescal Canyon road, then go home, take a nap...wake up and go back to my desk and start working :laugh::laugh::laugh:

I started riding cajalco around the lake before I was ripping up canyons just to build confidence. I can be a pretty tamed rider in a group, I like to set the pace for people who are new to roads or riding in general. More wild when I'm by myself.

Yeah, thats not going to be a problem. I'm no expert thats for sure. I too hit up the cajalco backroads and besides for a few trips to ortega thats the extent of my canyon experience.

Besides, my bike is financed...so I can't afford to lay her down so I'll never really push it until I've got a pink slip in hand :rofl2:

And like Josh said, the Cajalco back roads are where I go if I want a nice refresher course on how to ride.
