April 23-26, 2015. Registrations must be received by April 15. Cost is just $30 and includes an event t-shirt and dinner at the banquet/awards ceremony Saturday evening.

This years raffle bike has not been posted yet so I'll update this post when it is. This year YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN IT. Tickets can be purchased at the event.

Last year we had 11 of us from 675.net for 3 to 5 days of great riding on some of the best (and sparsely patrolled ) roads in the country. (the year before we had 10 from 675.net)
This event draws Triumph riders of all kinds from around the country, not just the central US. Four years ago, Jazman from 675.net won the raffle bike! Some group rides are offered but most riders (like us) will break into our own groups and go where we want. The only 'scheduled' activity you need to plan around is being back at the hotel by 5:30 Saturday for the banquet. Evenings are typically hanging around the bikes in the parking lot, or a campfire at the hotel back lot. This isn't some biker rally. Its all bout getting out and riding.

Feel free to ask questions about the event below and one of us MOKANARs will answer as best we can.

HOTEL INFORMATION IS LISTED TWO POSTS BELOW:

In the post below, I'll list the role call of those attending from 675.net. Just so we have an idea who is attending, either post up you ARE attending (after you have registered) or that you may be attending. ALSO LIST WHAT DAY YOU EXPECT TO ARRIVE

I think everyone is set for rooms but if Ardell and Stefan kick me out for snoring I'll let you know.

My timing and route tomorrow are really up in the air based on weather. I'm seeing 40%-56% chance of rain in OKC at 8am: 50% chance in Ft. Smith at 11am: 50% in Harrison. I'll just have to see what it's doing when I wake up but as long as it's dry i'll go as far as I can on I-40. Once it gets wet I'll go on secondary roads and that will alter my route and double my time. I might even consider going through Tulsa and coming across AR 412 if it looks to be more dry that way.
I'll be leaving here Thursday morning, not sure on exact time yet.

Me and my buddy are leaving Thursday around 2pm. See ya fellas there!
It's a Triumph Rally and so I figure Speedy is the bike to ride. Other factors to consider:

  • I just got back from the track yesterday and I don't have time to convert the duc back to the street.
  • Speedy gets 150 miles to the tank and the duc gets 90, with a 10 mile reserve.
  • I can carry more luggage on Speedy, which helps in my need to lug my own coffee maker!
I am riding out on Speedy Thursday and plan to be there late afternoon, weather permitting. Right now, the forecast is for scattered showers Thursday AM and clearing later in the day.

So you're leaving me to be the only Duc rider?! C'mon, man! I'll try to find a Triumph shirt that fits so I can feel like I'm still part of the club

Ardell - are you accessible by phone these days? I know in the past it was letter mail only, but I'm hoping you've got some kind of sext, I mean text, messaging plan these days :smilielol5: What's for dinner Thursday evening? I'm going to be hungry after that long ride!

I have full texting capability! I'm guessing you probably won't make it to the HUB before 6. Either way, you can call as well, the Sena will accept phone calls in case we are out riding. I have not thought about food, been dieting for a couple months and try not to think about food too much.
Funny thing is we are all heading towards the banjo music lol

One of these years I'll make it down, of course I'll have to swing by and kidnap JD first. It was a eventful winter with buying a new SUV and doing an overhaul on the bike, I just couldn't make it happen. It all ends today though, I'm going to get her re-tuned and then I'm finally done (at least for a while, lol).
Hoping to head out around 8 in the morning so I should be down early afternoon.
