Trying to keep up with a couple of the Street Triple guys on Push Mountain.
Hey, I remember back when my bike was running. It seems like it was just last week.

Freakin triumph parts. I have a stator ordered for almost two weeks now. All the dealer can tell for sure is that its not at the Atlanta Warehouse and it's been ordered from England but can't tell if it has shipped or when it will ship. All they get is an invoice that shows up a couple days before the part arrives and they haven't got that invoice yet. My bike may be fixed next week, next month, next year. At least the weather has been shitty but it should be getting better soon.

NOW I remember how much biotching Neanderthal did when his stator was on order.

I'm probably late to the party but just in case, there was a rectifier recall. Also, assuming you have checked with other dealerships to see if they have the part sitting on their shelf.

Good Luck...nlp
I had mine replaced with the mosfet unit under recall. The OEM/Mosfet unit tested ok with the multimeter as did my 'spare' mosfet unit that we ran it on briefly.

I checked with the 2 Oklahoma Dealerships and RPM in Dallas. Most of them don't want to stock a $500 part hoping that someone might need it in the next year.

OK Dammit - now you got me started, lol. I completely understand a dealer not stocking this part, it's my understanding dealers have the same type of database car retailers have and can see what other dealers have in inventory. At least that's the story I was fed when I had the same issue. My issue is with those numbnuts in Atlanta - the main USA warehouse. With the less than stellar history of the 675 charging system, you would hope they would have R/R's and Stators always in stock. It's the most likely part on our bikes that will need replaced, aside from the piddly maintenance items like filters, pads, ect.

I feel your pain Tom. :itsok:
