Caspian was only available in 2011 and maybe 2012. Neon blue was only available in 2008. Both colours are stunning. With scorched yellow they make up the three best colours the bike came in.
2011 Daytona - Capian or Neon Blue (black wheels)?
Hi guys, I have a blue 2011 Daytona 675 and am getting some panels repaired. I am trying to work out if it's Caspian or Neon Blue which should be an easy answer, however the bike has black/grey wheels, not gold.
Am I right in saying that as it's a 2011, the chances of it being caspian with black wheels are much higher than it being neon? I think neon is a 1st gen colour only.
Is there anywhere in the manual that can confirm this?

Perfect, that’s exactly what I wanted to hear as I’ve already bought the paint 😅 I do wonder why the wheels were switched though.
I have a 2011 Caspian blue but it has faded gold wheels. Hope this helps.
