No. Do not use the emergency kill switch. Key in, turn key, hit start button. To turn off simply turn the key back. Read the owners manual. It spells it out for you.
You've probably worn out the rocker switch.

Though the rocker switch works fine but thank you for the proper way!

I'm with Far Canal on this one. Leave the kill switch in the run position all the time. The only time you use the kill switch is on a track/race bike that has the key deleted.
