  1. General 675 discussion
Hey guys, I recently bought this bike from an auction, unfortunately I did not have the chance to look at it in person and when the bike was delivered I noticed the right front fork is broken (pics attached). I’m honestly in a budget + I don’t find the right front fork, so I was wondering if...
  2. Modifications
Has anyone gone about using a full adjustable st 1050 rear shock, I understand the spring rate is massive different with the speed triple being another 50kg, I have a 2013 675 with the pogo stick rear shock. Doesn't help I'm 67kg and the New Zealand roads are about as bad as they get,
  3. Parts
Taken from my Facebook ad: Anyone interested in some fancy Nitron parts for a 11+ 675R (parts are from a 2013)? Triples are for the Ohlins forks. I bought a race bike that had the suspension built by Lenny Albin when he worked at Nitron. He is now the top K-Tech guy in the US (switching this...

  4. Introductions
Hello everyone! Nice to meet y'all ! Last week I was able to grab a street triple 675 model from 2012, since I've been wanting to get one for the last 3-4 years. Problem is : the mechanic I went to to change my tyres and do a front suspension maintenance told me that the forks were a little bent...
  5. Track Days
hey guys. i recently bought an ohlins rear shock from a wrecked 675r the front was bent up so i couldn't use that. I want to put the shock in but i have heard that you shouldn't upgrade just one end of the suspension. is this true or will the upgrade to only the rear help out at the track? thanks :)

  7. All Things Suspension
I know the Daytona switch has been beaten to death, but I haven't found an answer to this scenario yet... I know these have been interchangeable for years, but I noticed the frame has changed slightly for 2013. I'm trying to stiffen the rear for 2up riding, and also make it adjustable for my...
  8. Maintenance and repair
I'm sure this question has been asked before, but with all of the research I've done I still have some questions. Long story short I picked up a 08 D675 with 8K miles on it and thus far I am super happy. When I purchased this vehicle the previous owner told me that he lowered the rear...
  9. Parts
Banged up my front end last year and had to repair my forks. Had the upper tubes straightened professionally and the lower tubes replaced with those of a Daytona 675. Forks are anodized black (STR) and have a few blemishes. Nothing a little touch-up paint wont fix. Rode on them for 4k miles...
  10. All Things Suspension
Quick question ... I may have the ability to purchase a Street (non-R) and wondered what it would cost if I'd like to get STR suspension or similar? I ask because here in Rochester NY we don't get have many on the road so, pickin are slim. I wanted the R version for tweaking when I have my wife...
  11. All Things Suspension
I've just bought the 2013 (2014 plated) Daytona 675R. I wanted to see who could give me some tips on personalising the suspension for me. Some info that might help: Me: 60kg (132 lb) without gear. 165cm (5 feet 4 inches) I do use the bike to commute some times but its only about 6...
  12. The Street Triple 675!
Hi, I own a ST 2009, after a small crash I had a problem in the oil seal in the right side. When fixing, I had to change the oil in the front, but also decided to change the back. The new adjust together the new Continental Sport Attack 2 tires has made the bike much more stable and reliable...
  13. All Things Suspension
Hi guys and gals, I'm new here and I thought my first questions would be about the steering damper that apparently is stock on 08's. As stated in my intro thread, I test rode an 07 that used to belong to hefdukes23. According to him, she didn't have a damper. Now, I loved the bikes handling both...
  14. All Things Suspension
I just want to make sure what's correct here. When I turn for example the front rebound screw and count clicks from full in; does 'full in' mean the first click-position that can be set, or does 'full in' mean the screw turned as tight as it can be (which on my 2010 Daytona is not a...
  15. All Things Suspension
It's not often that I start a new thread, but the question has been bugging me for a while now, so please bear with me as I ramble. I have been in a quest for a while. A quest to find again the suspension feeling I once found on my former Ducati. It was only on the rear part, perhaps not so...
  16. Parts
I've got two items in excellent condition. I purchased a 2010 Daytona 675 that was lowered and I just had it readjusted back to stock height, so the parts are for sale. The bike had 1100 miles with the lowering link and adjustable kickstand on them. Comes off a bike that is always garaged and...
  17. The Street Triple 675!
I'm in the process of fine tuning my suspension to match my "track conditions". My commute each day covers some typical Southern California freeways and busy streets. Large sections of the freeways have a condition where consistent bumps can cause a bucking-like ride at higher speeds. I had a...
  18. Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa
I recently took the Daytona 675 and the Speed Triple (Both '07) out for a test ride from my local dealer. Loved both bikes, thinking of getting the Daytona though. I previously owned a '07 Gixxer 600, not a bad little bike, but the torque was virtually non-existent. I was actually...
  19. Modifications
I just installed that lowering rear suspension plate that Flux sells. I'm really happy with the outcome. The bike is lower, feels smoother, and has given me lots more confidence with the 20mm height reduction. However, now the front feels a little on the high side. I've never messed with the...
  20. Modifications
I'm 5ft7 (28.5" inseam) and 80kg (176lbs), and have trouble with the setup of my stock 675. 1 Find ride height very high when riding (feels unstable and doesn't like to lean into bends) and once stopped (balancing on toes!) 2 Cannot find any stats on what suspension settings should be for a guy...
