Hang on, but are we talking road use tyres or track day only? I've got Road 5's on the Striple, and I ride Power RS on my track bike...
On the road / street, I ride more relaxed and don't really push the envelope, BUT the Tyre works fine. Quick to get to temperature, and on the twisties I've not had any of those balls dropping moments... Before I had a set of Bridgestone S20 (I think) and differences in riding feel on the road are negligible...
Track only... I've got a ZX9R which is heavier than any 675, even though the OEM Tyre size is the same (180/55)... I don't use warmers and need about couple of laps to be safe to push. I ride MEDIUM FAST Group (similar to your B + I think) and Tyre gives nothing but confidence. After 3 track days it is starting to look like done... Before the Michelin I had BT023 and had a few of those nice moments... Obviously different purpose Tyre.
I've never tried Pirelli or Dunlop's on track so can't really compare, but I 100% disagree with Michelin being a numb Tyre... As far as I'm concerned, they're very good. And I go as far as saying that they're better than most riders could ever ride...
Life's so much better on a bike!
