Completely remove gasoline from disconnected gas tank
Hello all. I have a spare gas tank for my 16 Triumph Daytona 675R that came with a bunch of gas in it. I already siphoned out most of it but still have a decent amount of gas left in the tank. The Siphon I have is fairly large with a ball bearing you shake up and down to create the vacuum but it's not working anymore with the little gas left in the tank. With my next track day not until October, when I put the bike back into track mode, I want to completely remove the gas.
What's the best way to accomplish this? Remove has cap and pour? Remove bottom and pour? Attempt to dump out of the overflow? Siphon from overflow? It's a California model tank with the charcoal canister connections so should be sealed and able to be vacuumed, I think.
I know I can probably find the answer on Youtube but Appreciate the assistance with anything specific to the Triumph gas tank.
