I've been doing some shopping lately...
A couple of weeks ago I called up EMA-USA for some goodies from R&G. I figured I have a British bike, might as well have me some British accessories! It was late on a Friday afternoon, two minutes past quitting time, and the gentleman who answered the telephone was obviously under the weather. He sounded stuffed up and tired but assured me that it was no bother to take my order before packing up and going home. He took the time to get my information correct, personally went to see that the items were in stock with his own eyes, and even cracked a few jokes before I hung up. He was the very definition of excellent customer service. All items arrived as promised the following week packed neatly in a single box.
Trying to keep a good thing going I punched up John King's website ( http:\\www.skykingproducts.com
) the same evening to order some tail sliders. My PayPal reciept says I sent money on February 23rd, Friday evening. I had a package in my mailbox on Monday when I got home from work. Are you kidding me? Did he know I was going to order it ahead of time and ship it out early?
So the following week on Friday, March 2nd to be exact, I paid a visit to Grasshopper Custom Painting ( http:\\www.grasshoppercustompaint.com
) for some "OEM style" decals. Same story. Items were in my mailbox on Monday. My order was correct and the decals were perfect.
I don't know how they do it, and frankly I don't care. The point is that I found them here on the forums and they're some of the best businesses out there.
