This service bulletin and my first service interval happened to coincide. I took it in on a Saturday and they had it back to me on Tuesday night I believe it was. Straightforward. Although I trailered my bike into them I chuckled to see that they were charging Triumph for a tow. (originally they were coming to get my bike - they told me that Triumph would pay for it as they did not want me driving the bike - but I had a trailer and knew I could get it in quicker if I brought it to them rather than waiting for them to come get it).

Anyway - it was a no-fuss service bulletin for me. Not sure if that answers what you were looking for.

Had mine done this weekend. They did it in 2 hours and all seems well. Suspension feels different, so I need to check what the OEM settings are suppose to be or finally dial in the static sag I've been putting off. Either way, something feels different before and after in turning.

Edit: Suspension settings were fine and we're set to factory defaults. They had changed my tire pressures.

Thanks. Glad all went well. My dealer charged me for transport, but triumph says they will reimburse. Suspension does feel different--stiffer I think.

Status update: Triumph gets two big thumbs up! Received my full towing reimbursement check today as promised :)

Yay - I'm not affected. I'm glad because I bought the shock from JD (it's from one of his 675Rs) and I'm sure that would make the recall extra messy. Probably would have had to send the shock directly to Ohlins for service.

Resurrecting this thread because I just bought my '15 early last year and I had no idea there was a recall on these shocks. Would be good for other to know as well.

Let's see if I can get the batch number at some point this weekend. Really sucks not having a garage with lighting.
