Seat Cowl Question

Hello and Happy Memorial Day to all the Veterans reading this. Thank you for your service.

Iím rebuilding a 2014 675r Eslick bike and am looking for a white seat cowl for it. Iím seeing two different kits available and there isnít much info on what the difference is between them other than price.

I assumed that one was painted one wasnít but they both say Phantom White. Can anyone shed some light on this.

Itís unfortunate there isnít a description. Both say crystal white but the more expensive one says painted. Having different part numbers Iíd assume one is base material and one is already painted. May have to order both and return the one you donít want.

Look at the diagram.

The second part number you sent (T2309598NW) is the cowl alone without the base and everything else. It is painted in crystal white. (Ref#2 on the diagram)

The other one is for the whole kit (Ref#1)

That said, why the cowl alone is more expensive than the entire kit is beyond me.

You need ref 1 unless you have the base lying around.

P.S.
isnít the eslik tail entirely red including the cowl?

Thank you very much for being so observant when I failed to do so...awesome!

Yea the bike came with a red tail section but was rear ended by a car so the new tail is just plain white.

you could always go back to the red, for the same price as the white...

https://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts...988&sch=806706

which has the whole section that you need...

2019 Road King ~ "Lucille"
2006 Triumph Daytona 675 ~ "Natalie"
2013 Kawasaki ~ "KeeWee" wife's ride
2016 Yamaha R6 ~ Gone
2003 Honda CBR F4i ~ Gone
2005 Kawasaki Ninja ~ Gone
Life is short, live it while you still can

Iíd have to buy another whole red tail section to make that work...the tail and subframe needed replacing on this bike so I purchased a full oem kit off a guy who removed the street stuff for a racebike.

Also youíd have to be sure that the Triumph Diablo Red is the same red as the eslik tail, which is a long shot unless Iím mistaken?

That Iím not too sure of. I can say that the red that was on the tail when I got the bike matched the subframe really well so Iím assuming itís really close if not identical.

I just happen to have a crystal white 2013 Daytona seat cowl that I don't need anymore since it's a track bike now. Are you interested in buying it before I post it for sale.
