Key Sheared off in Gas Tank

Finally some nice weather in NJ, take my bike out ride to the gas station, bout to fill her up with premium and go to open the tank and nothing, key breaks off in my hand. Lovely.

Any ideas suggestions for either
A. getting it out of their (i tried some needle nose pliers and will be calling a mechanic friend tomorrow to see if he has ideas).
B. replacing or fixing the difficulty in turning the key. I plan on getting some graphite fluid for the lock once the broken key is out.

Thanks

Try to extract the broken part with a jigsaw blade! Did this on several locks in the past 40 years.
Good Luck!

For what it's worth (and hopefully not violating a forum rule) Soldier113 is selling a new uncut key blank in the classified section. ;)

Try a hot glue gun glue stick. Melt just the end, press it onto the broken key, let harden. Then pull key out
