I like modular HJC helmets. The older models had a lot of wind noise, but my new IS Max II is quite a bit quieter.

Happier than a seagull with a french fry!

My first helmet was a cheap scorpion. R710 or something like that. Switched to an rf 1200 and never looked back. On my 3rd rf1200 currently. Love it.

Im sure its been mentioned before but it really comes down to fit. I loved the Bell Race Star helmets but I felt like I was between sizes even with the extra padding. I found Arai too round. AGV and Shoei seem to fit me well and I love the quality of AGV Corsa R.
I used to own a scorpion and for a mid range helmet their quality is amazing.

I agree it mostly comes down to what fits your head shape

LS2 helmets fit my dome, and offer a lot of quality for the price. Right now I have the Breaker model. The drop-down inner sun shield is a nice feature if your rides often take you from daylight to night or sunny to clouds. I wore a Schuberth at a track school and wow that's a nice helmet. A bit more than I'm trying to spend though.
