nah, thats just a good angle photo, and the whole of the area where it looks so untidy (the front) is one colur so you donīt notice..100% love it or hate it bike that. (how it looks I mean).

The Bike write up was interesting on the R6, only starts pushing out power at 10K rpm..so if its finished at 15k (which he said it was, thats a crappy power band, not even 33% of the rev range.

That 17.5K rpm crap is just marketing..wasted on all R6's that wonīt be raced. (99%)

Good pics

Thanks for the good pics Scarlet. Deffinitely wish I was at the Phoenix unveiling of the bike. Damn Army!!!!
The R6 was goin to be my choice of bikes until I saw the D675. I personally liek the styling of it and the race trim, to me, deffinitely increases the looks.

In answer to Daytona63's question - yes, they are both projector lights, so you're right - you won't be able to wire them to both come on. Oh well.

I don't understand why not. Isn't the only difference between projector and normal lights the shape of the headlight unit?
Or is it something completely different?

I would really like to use both headlights by wiring them in the same way...

i always thought, though correct me if i am wrong, that there is only room for a single filament in a projector light so it's either a main beam or a dipped beam. :?

But there are two projector lights on the bike. Why shouldn't it be possible to use the main/dipped beam on both?

I think he meant that you can't do the mod because it'll most likely overload the alternator's max output.
