Apparently, Jason (or Jason's family), semi-funded his WSS ride. I don't think he got a salary, and I'm pretty sure he paid all of his personal/travel expenses. That's a pretty big chunck of change for WSS.

Probably acted more like a 'renter' than an employee of a race team. Something like 'hey, I'm paying $XXX so you loosers can be graced with my American talents and marketability, you better be giving ME top shelf stuff"

The team is also 100% Italian. Don't think that Jason's attitude translates well to that environment, especially when Chaz is so easy going (and making the podium).

Anyone remember his little ***** fest at the AMA press event with Jamie Hacking?

Great news IMO...I knew there was a reason I never really like Jason. He always came across like he was a GOD or something.

Im glad Chaz is doin well with the triple though and glad they are putting more riders in the mix for WSS.

GO TRIUMPH!!!!

apparently Jason was popular back in the late 90's early 2000's. He was very, very fast on 250's. He even rode a 250 GP for a couple of rounds.
It all must have went to his head.

I have never met him personally, people that actually know him say his in an alright guy. whatever the case may be, none of that changes the fact that every time I have ever seen him on camera I have wanted to ***** slap his ass.

Davies comments pretty much confirm what I figured. Jason cant hack it with the big boys anymore. He needs to go back and run AMA and lead the new up and comers around the track.

He was a cocky prick of a kid running either 125s or 250s in WERA. IIRC, he and Spies were competitors. Spies stayed here and learned to ride, while JD chased GP, then came back and was a cocky prick piece of pack fodder in AMA. With no more results than he got and the attitude he carried around, I never could figure why he kept getting A or A minus rides. Might explain why Jake Zemke and Josh Hayes had jobs in the US this year, while JD had to get a last minute deal in WSS.
