2015 R1 & 1299, looking pretty tasty!

In case you have not seen this, the new Yamaha R1 and several other new for 2015 bikes were released to the public today..

Here is the new YZY-R1M (top of the line version)... great build sheet and should e pretty sweet!

http://www.yamahamotorsports.com/spo...2/0/video.aspx

Ducati unveiled the 1299 Panigale for the base & S model... and the 1199R will continu to be 1199cc, but will have SuperLeggera internals and updated electronics.

Not sure what to make of those headlights on the R1M. Looks like a hammerhead shark from the front. Dig the carbon fiber bodywork, but $22K is Ducati/BMW pricing. I guess when they have CF bodywork and electronically adjustable suspension like a Panigale, they can justify the price.

I don't care for the fascia as well but I do like the little winglets by the seat. It was about time for Yamaha to freshen the supersport lineup.

Really waiting to see what comes of the R6, lot of speculation of it becoming an I3 675. A reliable, high spooling I3 like the MV F3, in an updated R6 chassis would be sweet!

That Yamaha video was ****ing terrible. Was that a Nick Harris impersonation? They should have just left it out.

The Yamaha looks promising, I'm not too interested in the 1299

Both of the R1 and 1299 looks pretty nice, except the 1299 doesn't look to much different from 1199. From the way the R1 headlight they should at least made it like adaptive headlight capabilities.

I LOVE the look of the 09-14 R1.

The '15 I'm sure will grow on me. The specs are impressive but it's a bit ugly.

The 2015 R1 specs look really impressive for the asking price. $16,490 for the base R1 and $21,990 for the MotoGP technology loaded R1M model of which only 500 will be available in the US.

If the r1 is same size as rsv4 that would be great. Looks very rsv4 like as well. Hate how tremendous the current one is. But every bike seems pig sized compared to ours
