frame from 14 to 12 daytona ?

Hey guys,

Got a chance to buy good frame from 2014. Will that fit to 2012.. ? Are there major issues - like wrong engine mountings, swing arm mounting, etc.?

if you are using the 13+ frame with your parts from a 2012 Daytona?... you will need to swap a few things.

You will need to use a 13+ airbox, which should bolt right up to your throttle bodies.. just cap off the holes where the shower injectors are.
Your motor will bolt right in.
The swingarm and triples might be an issue... have not looked into the compatibility of the swingarm, or the headstock differences.

Most of you people are not capable of being your GD self, to damn worried about being politically correct.

Hey jdgun,

Thanks for replying mate, I appreciate it .

It seems , the rear / sub-frames are very different and also the mountings to the frame are very different. So thats + sub-frame, +swingarm, + exhaust (because old one is undertail), + airbox.
I wonder what else.

I do have '15 forks, with tripples. To me they look identical to ones from '12 I took off - I mean, the tripples and the central piece.

Anyone else could chip-in with info on this I would appreciate.

Pics of frames attached . (2012 is grety , black is 2013)
