2008 d675 mods?

hi to all,totally new to the d675 ,and will say what an awesome bit of kit,i have owned a zx6r for over ten years and done a load of performance mods and allot of them cheap n cheerful,is there any mods that can be done with the gen1 daytona which is reasonable priced that will help gain a bit more ,have just done the basic tor can with a remap and exup delete,i will be in the future removing cat and getting a custom tune but that will be next year

Hey there fellow first gen Daytona rider! You could remove the SAI solenoid and do a little hose plumbing, remove the air intake flapper, buy a set of used 09-12 air intake trumpets and replace them with your original (the 09-12 ones are shorter), a speed triple throttle tube which would mean more "throw" (thus less throttle action needed for the gas), Be happy to talk you through them! I learnt most of it from this forum anyway!

Hey, i dont own the post but thanks.. any recommendation for a map ? ive a got a stock 08 675, with sai and exup deleted, bmc air filter

Why would the 09 air trumpets help ? a little more explaining plz.. Thx in advance
