2007 675 not running! need help

alright so kinda long story here. my cam chain snapped on me, i replaced it did the timing checked the valves. all was good. put the bike back together and now, it wont run. it does crank but will not turn over anymore. at first it would but only if i gave it throttle full time. as soon as i let off the throttle it would die. checked the code runner. and P0078: Exhaust valve control circuit (bank one). when i took the plate off there were no cables too it. but it always ran before then (before the chain snapped) with no issues. now the bike did sit for about 3 months before i got all the parts together to fix it. i changed out the oil, oil filter, and gas and the battery is reading the correct voltage. last but not least, jumping the bike will not work either.. so now im just lost. idk if need to tune it or what? but any guidance or help with be greatly appreciated! thank you in advanced!

1. Why won't jumping it work? What is(n't) happening when you try to jump it?
2. Compression test results if any?

The sooner you introduce motorcycles into your children's lives, the less likely they'll have money for drugs, alcohol and cigarettes as teenagers.

The compression is there I spun the cam crank and it was building compression. And when I try to jump it. It just cranks but won’t turn over.
