Rebuilding front end

What is this part of fell out of the front end during an accident driver is at fault but idk if I can wait that long for insurance to come look at my bike but I have no idea what this is

You come on a forum asking for help because you don't know what you're doing. Someone gives you the right answer and you tell them they're wrong. If you know better, why are you asking?


Like the other person has already said, it's a bar weight and goes inside the clip-on (handlebar).

It IS a bar end. If it was in an accident, it was thrown into the headlight area. The silver thing next to your forefinger is the bar end slider. It bent during accident, sending it flying.

Looks like a bar end to me. Have you looked at the bike to see if one is missing?
