I tried the adaptions today. Idle actually was pretty close to 1200. It bounces a fair bit when cold but settles once it gets some temperature. The bike idled for about 10 minutes. I dont know what fan temp is normally but the po removed the fan completely. It idled to about 73C. The app for some reason failed and shut down right about that point. The only way I'll know if it worked is to let it cool to ambient and start it again.

If all you're worried about is adaptions, you don't need tunecu. Just let the bike idle for 30 minutes untouched and it will perform the adaptions routine. It might do it at 20 minutes but if you can't see the actual temp just let it run for 30 to be sure. If you move the throttle at all while the bike is heating up it will not run adaptions.

Apart from TuneECU and whatever you do with it, consider checking the rubber pieces that join the throttle tubes with the cylinder valve inlets. If they're old they crack and a slight vacuum leak can cause idling/closed throttle troubles, as a friend of mine's experience proved.

I'll pull the tank and do another visual. Didnt notice anything last time, but I also wasnt looking for anything specific.

You don't need to do that, at least to inspect their rear side. The place they "crack" is where they become narrow, right below where the throttle bodies enter inside them. If you look through the opening of the frame (from both sides), you can actually inspect them for cracks, at least from the back side. So if you see any cracks then order new ones and open up the bike in order to replace them. Just make sure to put a little grease inside the new ones otherwise installing (and whenever it is needed removing) the throttle bodies becomes a pain.

The reason you want TuneECU is to cancel to see if it is actually adapting. There are a number of things including too high of an idle rpm that prevent adapting.

From what I can tell all looks good but I had trouble seeing much with the track body on. I'll keep it in mind to keep an eye while I continue to get it ready for the season.

While I wasnt able to confirm the light turned green, I did start the bike this morning and it both seemed to idle more consistently when cold, but didnt attempt to stall after giving it a little rev, so a good start at least. I can rerun the adaption again and hope the app does close. Hard to say if it totally fixed it until the track a couple week from now. Let me know if there is anything else you think I should try.

I had the bike at the track this weekend. I reset the adapatations and allowed it to warm up/idle for 15 minutes. The light in bottom right of tuneecu app blinked green but never went solid. That said, the bike only stalled once the entire two days unlike a week ago when it did multiple times, so I think that resolved it.
