Street Triple R675 shift indicator

I have been trying to change the shift light indicator but the menu never goes to setup while bike is not idling.
Igntion is on and kill switch is on. I press button A but it cycles only between trip 1 & trip 2. But B only changes in the trip between average mpg and trip distance.

When I start the bike I can then cycle with button A to set-up but can only change LAP, TIME & UNITS.

Is there a way to reset the tacho to factory default or is there something that I am missing?

You've posted your question in the Site Issues forum so I'm going to move it to the Maintenance and Repair forum. You'll probably get more eyes on your question there.

its abit finicky on how the bike is setting in order to adjust it... mine is a 2012.. yours may differ depending on the year
-ignition needs to be on
-engine cutoff needs to be on
-bike needs to be in Neutral

if that doesn't work I'd have to wait to help till I got home and had time to play with it or look at the manual.
