Dash electric acting funny

I'm having a small issue with my 2008 ST, sometimes when you turn ignition on, dash screen, fuel pump etc are dead. What makes it interesting is that side indicators and horn still work! So anybody have anything similar happen to them? I'm bit torn is the problem in dash or might it be in ignition lock itself.. Anyway need to check the wires on both!

Thanks for advice and answers in advance!

Garage
Does it crank?
How old is your battery?

Crapped out batteries can make some very odd behavior on these bikes.
Iíd check that out before going any deeper.

No it doesn't crank, it's as if everything between the dash and engine is dead.

The issue I doubt is the battery, it's practically new. ( Fu*ked up my previous battery by not using the charger on winter break :D)

I'd check the battery and ground wiring under the seat, make sure there isn't a loose connection.
