Michael,
Yes, I purchased those clips when I bought the bag, however the straps easily tuck under the seat when not in use. Some day in the near future, I will dig out the OEM seat and try to verify if the issue is indeed the aftermarket seat - I'll let you know. Am I assuming correctly that the old-style straps are no longer available in case I lose one of mine?

Sounds good, mate.

You can still get replacement compression straps from www.kriega.us. And at the moment, they come supplied with the US-10, as a back-up in case the person has an older US-20 they want to attach it to without switching over the Alloy Hook Straps.

Does anyone have some photos of how they've mounted a new style kriega on a 2013+ street triple? I've got it jerry rigged up I know there has to be a better way but with no frame to wrap around it's not obvious.

I don't know how the subframe of the Striple is but this is on my 2013 'Tona. Hope it helps!

Thanks for the pictures! I unfortunately don't have that front support that you do but I think I can get around the tail support so that definitely helps.

Thank you for the images of the setup on the newer ('14) 675R seat, I've been searching to better prepare myself for the install. If you have any other images of the set up or final finish of the pack on the bike, I'd like to see it. I just ordered the combo 30 so i'll have a US20 under a US10, looking forward to it, I still haven't seen it on a 2014 675R Daytona.

Also, how much of the bike did you need to breakdown in order to set those straps into the tail like you did? If anyone else can answer these Q's, I'd appreciate the input.

Cheers!

I'll have to take more pictures for you. I had some but have since deleted them. The US30 Combo is a great setup. That's what I have and I have found that I consistently use the US10. It's nice to have the whole 30 but I use it only two or three times a month.

I didn't break any of the tail section down. I was able to loop the straps around the subframe with it all together.

EDIT: You're in luck. I still had them loaded on my photobucket account! Here ya go. Disregard the gear I stuff it with (the blankets at least)! It was just for reference for what you can get in there with no issues at all.

Hi,
I know this topic's old and most pictures are long gone, but I'll try asking here anyway, instead of creating new topic. How do you mount Kriega straps to a 2013+ Daytona? Does it require disassembling the tail or something? I can't find a good spot to mount them.

If your connecting under rear seat, connect a set of them to the aluminum bracket under the seat, that's a pretty sturdy spot and another closer to the front of the bike there is another metal (black) bracket. If you're having trouble I can take a photo. Mine have been sturdy af.
