Glad to hear you're doing as well as you could be. What actually happened if you don't mind me prying?

Don't forget that the 09 will have a different front end and that may hinder your ability to get it looking like an 06-08 again.

Good luck with everything and I'll keep an eye out for you.

A new money pit has opened. I call it my Daytona.

Yeah, I still have that cover. I opted to just put race protectors on, so I just covered up my rashed stator cover. It's yours. Next time I'm down your way, I can drop it off. just pm me and we can work it out. Consider it my get well present. Any other parts you need, let me know. I have all kinds of crap laying around that I've been buying for spares over the winter. I think I have a problem.

Lowside at ~90mph in turn 1 at Barber. Honestly I don't have an explanation. It was mid-turn, as I was fully leaned over and accelerating. I didn't lose the rear due to accelerating too hard, and I didn't lose the front due to braking (my fingers were off the brakes). Both tires lost traction suddenly at the same time and down I went. I'm not sure when my injuries happened--the initial impact didn't seem that bad. It's possible they happened as I was sliding down the track--there's a strip of grass between portions of track, and I might have slammed against the other portion of track after sliding off the first and over the grass. It had drizzled a little bit for the prior couple laps, and my tires were getting a little worn...could be one, the other, or a combination of the two.

After doing some searching here, it seems like the 06-08 fairings fit directly on the 09s--someone already did it =)

Thanks a lot man. I don't think I really *need* anything else, but I won't quite know until I take it apart. I'm going to verify it runs, and then take stock of what's broken. I might strip it and rebuild it for fun, too.

There is another british bike meet this weekend in Auburn if anyone is interested.

i'm heading out from western mass with a couple guys from CT that are on 67' bonnevilles. It would be cool to actually meet some other 675 owners.

Off topic but tomorrow is my day. I leave at 10 AM for Bar Harbor, ME. The car is 90% packed and the bike is strapped into an enclosed U-Haul. Sorry we missed a 675 ride at the beginning of the season here.

A new money pit has opened. I call it my Daytona.

I'd love to make it, but the bike isn't running 100% right now. If I can get the kinks worked out, I'll be there.
