Torque wrench

Hi all from South Africa just want to share something regarding torque wrenches . About 6 months after purchasing my Str trip I wanted to purchase a torque wrench so I shopped around and the prices ranged from R550(Chinese ) to R5500 . My brother then gave his Gedore 30nm to 230nm . I priced it and it came in around R3600 . I then took it to Gedore sa and they serviced and calibrated it free of charge . In fact if you buy a Gedore it comes with a lifetime service plan free of charge . Now that's amazing !!!!

Also please note that one must maintain ones wrench by having it calibrated it every 6 months . Also after using it at higher torque settings define it back to its lowest setting or 30nm as in the case with mine.

One torque wrench manufacturer came in less expensive for a good product ie R2300 but required R600 for every calibration.

Hope this was informative
Regards David
