Think that got it all.
MY WORD - I didn't even realize the list was this extensive. No wonder we have no closet space! I never realized you were such a gear whore.
Well, yes I did.... :166:

Where there's a great deal, you'll find me. It's expensive buying for all seasons for two.

Can anyone reccomend a good pair of riding shoes/boots for everyday commuting and around town stuff? Not looking for the calf high crazy colored boots, but I need something besides tennis shoes or my big honkin' 'harley' boots.

Also, I need to get a new jacket. My current leathers (jacket and chaps ;) ) don't have armor in them. So a brightly colored jacket with armor in the pertinent places, recommendations?

Last thing, helmet questions. Right now I have a cheap ass rz1 helmet I got for my cruiser so I could ride when it got cold (always wore a shorty before.) So now I'm looking to get a better quality helmet to protect my squishy parts. I was thinking either the Suomy Spec-1R, or the Arai RX7.... Is there a comparable Shoei?

My budget for all three pieces is around 1700 bucks (minus insurance). I expect to be paying betwen 500-650 for the helmet alone. Any left overs will be spent to get some tank grips, and possible CA taillight. So what jacket and boots can I get for a total ~500. Seen a lot of icon around lately. Is it any good? *hrm... Hope i'm not threadjacking*

Check out http://www.newenough.com/ for gear selections. Great place to shop and excellent return policy in case you order a size that does not fit.

Personally, love Alpine Stars jackets/gear. The link above has a boot section specifically for street and touring. Don't rule out taller boots though. The A Star S-MX 4 is a very comfy boot even just out and about. i'd stuff mine under my jeans with out a problem.

Helmets...I think it's the Shoe RF 1000 you might be thinking of. Don't rule out the other Arai lids. The profile series is great as well. If you can, go get fitted for proper size/shape. If you're gonna spend that much $...... get one the fits proper.
