Race Harness Fuel Tank Plug?

OOOOOOOK this is starting to drive me nuts. I installed the Triumph race harness on my '15 675 and for the life of me, I can't find one of the connectors. The fuel pump should have the fuel line, a brown electrical connector and a black connector going to it. I cannot find the black connector. Does a race harness not have one? Trying to think of who else has a 13+ race harness...

@*GT* ? @tottenham12712 ? @Victor Ward ?

Does the race harness not have a working fuel gauge? One of those is for the pump and the other is the gauge. Unfortunetly I dont have a race harness, I modified the stock one for the time being. Based on position (aka a guess) brown is the pump and black is the fuel level sensor. On the stock harness it looks like this:

Really? My 06 and 09 both had a black plug and a brown one, but neither had a fuel gauge. Maybe that's it though. I'll get some gas tomorrow and try to start it.

They had a fuel light right? If so there is still a sensor in there, it just turns a light on once a float gets to a certain level. Where the one we have is a type of potentiometer that reads voltage in steps and translates that to the gauge in bars.

Yeah, good point. Alright, fingers crossed.

BTW did you see my update about the lightened rear brake rotor?

Sorry guys, I don't know how I missed this post. I do have the latest race harness and it does NOT have the black connector. I bought the bike with the harness so it caught me off guard when I lifted the tank. I probably spent 30 minutes looking for the "missing" connector. LOL! I've since gutted the entire harness (maintenance purposes) and it's definitely not included. That's too bad because an operational fuel gauge would have been nice.

That would explain why the "low fuel" light on my 2012 675R with race harness doesn't work. Guess how I know.

After tinkering on & off all day I still can't get the bike to start. Cranks over no problem but the fuel pump doesn't prime when I flip on the ignition and the fuel line is bone dry. Really hoping I didn't get a faulty harness here.

My 2010 race harness only has the one connector (brown).

Probably a long shot but do you have another fuel pump you can try?
