About 2hp/2tq maximum power, but it gives A LOT of hp/tq in the mid range (4k - 10k rpm). With a tune (you need it for A/F ratio), In UKRS' dyno, it gained about 8 TQ at 5500rpm. It will also open up the intake and howl more. Engine will spool up faster
Took her out for some comparative back to back riding versus the most recent addition to the stable (f3 800).. Also battery was a little low on Volts and needed a recharge, still doing great for 8 years old (shorai). Definitly had some fun, but old girl needs some updates.:|
Installed some Vortex grips, and...well...when taking out my clutch side bar end, the little silver clip was in pieces. Seems like it has been broken a while with the broken edge looks slightly aged. Is this little clip necessary?
Got my first real rides of the year in this week commuting to work on Thursday and Friday. [emoji106]
Also got my round headlight bowls back from the powder coaster on Thursday. This weekend I plan to swap the stock hexagonal lights for round ones and the old halogens for LED assembly.
Tried to install some lamin-x headlight covers on my street bits since they're off the bike right now and man was that an exercise in futility. The long oval and quite rounded headlights on the 2013+ are not friendly with thick stickers. Even using my heat gun I couldn't ever get it to set right without some kind of bubbling that would squeegee out.
If anyone else has installed these successfully I'd love to know your method.
Unbritished it a bit, had the infamous clutch cover leak... Some of those bolts just seemed to be hand tight, no wonder it leaked. Decided to take a look at other bolts and both the timing and stator cover were right.
As I was flushing the coolant i had a chance to make sure all hose clamps were tight, and they were. Interesting that only some of the clutch cover bolts were not tight.
Finished up painting my track fairings. This was my first time attempting a project like this and while it's far from perfect it was satsifying to do all the work myself and have it turn out pretty decent looking.
Installed the SAI blockoff plates from Driven, and the soldered-and-assembled resistor with connector built with info from Ditch Doctor worked perfectly. No error codes, no problems!
I did the 19RCS Corsa Corta master cylinder and RBF660 upgrade on my '13 D675R for the front brakes. It's a track bike so I've not road tested it yet but way less travel in the lever and feels as good as the STRS.
Listed mine for sale.... she needs to go to someone who rides more then 500 miles a year...
