I come to you defeated.

I scoured bikebandit and through my manual for the name of this tube but had no luck. Can someone please educate me on name of this part in the following pictures? The tube is cracked and appears to be leaking. Thank you.

That's one of the coolant hoses.

Not sure on part number though as I replaced the whole lot myself.

Not sure what year and only the first photo loads for me but I take it to be this. https://www.triumphestore.com/p/Triu.../T2100408.html. On my Daytona, it's the tube that fits in a groove on the front of the countershaft sprocket cover. And if it's a Daytona, it will appear very difficult to mount to the back of the engine. Until you remove a fairing bracket.

Thanks for the help guys. I was staring at that diagram for a bit but didn’t recognize the part. Thanks for the tip on the fairing stay, too.

It looks like the tube is leaking oil... which doesn’t make sense. I took the clutch cover off and it was loaded with grime... I recently purchased the bike and have been cleaning it up as I get familiar with disassembly. I’m thinking the bypass hose is leaking a bit and mixing with the grime that was around it and leaking down the sump. Think I may need a new sump gasket as well; I tried reloading the pics showing the sump.

Hopefully installation will go smoothly, cheers.
