2016 D675 clutch safety switch removal

Hello all,
New to the forum and Triumphs. I'm converting to a track only bike. Question; can I just jumper out the clutch safety switch without affecting the ECU on the 2016 Daytona 675? Many thanks!

No. It has to be a closed circuit for startup but then open when you’re moving. You could put a momentary toggle switch on it.

Thank you for your response. I know that on a Suzuki, removal of the safety clutch switch affects the ECU and/or map. Just to be safe I'm going to leave that portion of the wiring loom intact. Anxious to thrash it's guts out at the track!

Triumph and Suzuki use the same ECU and the same base software. Triumph just has a custom interface and mapping on top of that.
