Here is a simple, 1-click fix to re-attach the Photobucket links for any Google Chrome users.

1. Go to this website:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...bifiaedg?hl=en

2. Click on the blue "ADD TO CHROME" box.

Done!

Admins - can we make this tip more noticable to the forum users?

Sorry - I don't know. It's a Google "add-on" that is automatic. It won't update the photo links until you log into the website, i.e. this one. If you have Photobucket-links on another website, you will have to log into that website before the links are fixed there. It's a 1-time deal though, so you don't have to worry about it again.

I believe there are similar fixes for Firefox users as well.

It doesn't fix/edit the links for other users but makes the broken images work in your browser? I'm guessing it just spoofs the referer header in the browser's request to retrieve the image so photobucket thinks you are viewing the image from their website. If the hack becomes too common, I'm sure photobucket will find another way to block it.

Looking at the reviews, it looks like the add-on used to alter Amazon links for the developer to collect referral fees for your purchases. Be wary of 3rd party plugins.
