Thumbs up Billet Heat Exchanger/Oil Cooler Group Buy Interest

Hey all,
So I've seen a number of threads regarding the failure of the oil/water heat exchanger on the <2013 675's (Uno, Dos, Tres, etc) - specifically track or race bikes . As I've recently started into track riding, the thought of the the exchanger either mixing water with engine oil and shitcanning my motor or puking oil/coolant a few feet in front of the back tire has got me a touch concerned. As such, I'd like to buy one of the billet heat exchangers to replace the factory unit. As far as I know, only two companies make these:

UK Race Support
JHS

Going off of old threads, it looks like there may have been some group buy activity in the past. I'm looking to see who might be interested in a group buy and whether we can get one of these two companies interested in cutting some forum members a break on price and sharing some across-the-pond shipping costs. Please feel free to post if you're interested or if you have some pertinent info related to the heat exchanger itself. Thanks!!!

Ben

If anyone is interested I have one of these on my bike. No noticeable difference from stock but it definitely won't fail.

Unfortunately I don't have a photo of it installed. I can get one this weekend if you want that.

I'd be interested in more detailed images and measurements.

Perhaps a cad model.

Custom metalwork. PM me with your ideas.

I'm with you on that, but I think I'll just be buying one for now. Are you interested in buying one?

Thanks for the photos, Shamrock & MacBandit!

So right now it looks like the following people are in:
benp
MachOne (with a potential +1)........can anyone verify that this part would, in fact, fit a s3?

I've heard back from JHS and they stated that we need a minimum order of 5 to get a group rate. I haven't heard back from UKRS yet.

Also, before we get too far on this, is everyone on the list somewhere in the US (or maybe Canada)? I'm not sure what would be involved in shipping to Canada. And sorry, Australians, I don't see it being cost effective to have a bulk order shipped to the US and then ship one to Aus? I could be wrong on that though.
