If I remember correctly, the threads on that bolt don't go down very far, it looks like you've basically got it un-threaded all the way. Might just need to be pulled out with something.

Making sure everything is in position and going...

Making sure everything is in position and going at it slow was the best way for me. The key is to not push the puller arm into the assembly when fitting the cover on.

Could it be possible that the puller arm inside is sticking out too far, which is causing the lifter...
