Well done. Something we should all maybe check.

And FWIW, I've taken a few tie raps in my time, too, but where I work now I don't have to wear a tie, so no problem.

or just take that garbage damper off

revo2010 08-07-09 01:27

other things to check

you could put an eyes also on radiator hose on the left side .....it rubbed on metal relay holder
t.p.s. wire are pried a lot under a radiator hose
no grease at all on slide bushing on rear caliper
and about sweak think i found it :exhaust clips loose , will see it tomorrow
i have more time to disasemble than to ride it
(medical problems)

so see ya

cricket found

this will help for sure
i passed the 3 last days on this .
could stop thinking about it and i was going crazy about that squeak sound
finally found it!!!!!!!!:hooray:
i have remove every part in front of bike but no use to solve problem
i still dont believe it
gaz tank bolt bushing under seat was the trouble maker .
while i was there fixing it with silicone on bushing i found another stupid thing considering they charged me 600$ for p.d.i.
battery bolt was loose because plastic was underneet the connector !!!
here is the pictures so you will understand :
http://www.printroom.com/ViewAlbum.a...lbum_id=227778
on bushing you see a shinny spot . that was where the sound came from

if you change your windshield ,before putting the new one, check the vaccum device (dont know how to call it).that open and close an air flap
i bet 10$ it is not seated well and the clips are loose .check it and give me news
many thanks for reading me
i know i am hard to read but i usually spreak french :duh:

bottom line is: i love this bike !!!!!
nothing is perfect and all those are minor issue so if you are about to buy a daytona 675 dont back off because of thread like this .

A wrong click on my part, sticky restored. Also edited the title as you seem to have picked up on a few things so far.
