ricracer16 Maybe they were priced wrong. But I have two of them. At one point in the garage where I keep my bikes. There were at least 5 or 6 other Daytona’s. All track bikes. They get a bad wrap but it’s the best bike I’ve ever ridden in its class and tons of European moto journalists swear by it. If and when they come out with new one they need to price match their competitors or beat their prices.

kcfcycle Agree with you there. I never really see Daytonas on the road.

I see plenty at the track though.

Arawn I really don't understand why the D675 flopped so badly all around the world. In my local market I can see why, they were stupid expensive, commanding 1000cc money for a 600, but MX market is all sorts of messed up; they ended up collecting dust in the dealerships and AFAIK only '13 models were imported, in the end they sold them with all the triumph accesories included at a steep discount.

When I take it for a ride I've never ran into another D675, but in every ride I'll see Panigale V4s; it's like I were riding a super exotic bike.

UK_Race_Support The only way Triumph will make a Daytona 765 street bike is if enough people put their money on the table. Speaking to Triumph last week they sold over 1200 Bobbers in the UK this year. The last year the Daytona was in production it sold 6! Please keep pestering Triumph for this bike to be made.

MacBandit I’m sure it’s well out of my range. The Honda 600s used were expensive but within the realms of possibility.

With Tony Scott working so closely with Triumph on this project, Moto2-spec parts for the 765 motor are already more or less commercially available from Spirit. I bet you could get a motor right now if you really wanted to, you'd just have to pony up an assload of cash.

with the 861 monster of course this will happen a 675D

and yes on the slimmer side convers
Ducati and Aprilia have been doing that for years

the lean angles in moto2 will be amazing with low weights and race rubber
