LeeHam Nice work! Scary those beemers are so quick on a tight track too - even if Beaton is quick as there would have been some good competition.

Had long planned to do the training then track day and make a weekend of it this May with a mate but gremlins and family stuff interfered. He got to the track and proceeded to rub it in nicely though.
Haha, that would be fun! Too bad you didn't make it, it was a great weekend.

For those unfamiliar, it's the British, European, American Racing Series. Basically, no Japanese bikes. The bikes in the F2 class are:
BEARS FORMULA 2
APRILIA RSV1000, RSV1000R, Tuono; BIMOTA Tesi 3D, SB6, SB8, YB10, YB11; BMW K1200S & K1200R, K1200 Power Cup; BUELL 1125; DUCATI 4 valve 749 - 998cc, Panigale 899; KTM 950-990, Super Duke, 1190 Adventure; HARRIS, SPONDON, etc. (10 or more years old); MV AGUSTA F4 750cc & Brutale 750-1100, F3 675, F3 800; TRIUMPH 650-675

675s dominated, it was actually 17 bikes racing, of which 9 were Daytonas. Of those, 8 finished in the top 10. I was happy with my result, 4th overall from placing 4th, 4th, 4th, and 3rd after qualifying 4th. Unfortunately, the top bike was a Ducati, but Jordan is a really fast rider.

In F1, Beau Beaton set the overall fastest lap record for the track on a S1000RR with a 1:15.9. For context, I run 1:24's consistently... He'd lap me in a 10 lap race if he could run that pace all the time. McCoy and Vermuelen were hanging around, something tells me that if they raced that record would get flattened.
