I have 16,000 track kms on this thing (actually less, due to short gearing), and the only thing that has gone wrong is the CPS / stator unit. Twice the CPS has shit itself, and twice the stator wires and/or connector have melted down. It is funny that you say that. I found the connection from the stator to the main harness was melted down, badly, when my CPS died. I had already upgraded the harness/RR connector. Lucky for me I had extra connectors in the tool. box. t_bare I really like my Noco Genius 7.2 amp charger. It has a lithium setting and I put the permanent quick connectors on all my bikes for convenience. https://no.co/g7200 |

MadMel | I'm away from home for a couple more days, won't be able to look into it until later this week. |

Forget to mention in the OP that no fault codes are showing up. t_bare |

MadMel | Thanks for the replies. I'm out of town for a few days, but will pull some wrenches next week. |

MacBandit | I was going to mention CPS as well when I posted yesterday but I didn’t because I figured you might see some weirdness with the RPM reading in TuneECU at the same RPM if the CPS is failing. I still think you might have a power supply issue. That could be anywhere though. |
