I don't know about other parts of the country/world, but I have Daytona forks and rear suspension on my Street Triple and it kicks major ass over the stock setup.
Even better than just that, I went and took my shit to Brian at Fluid Suspension Science in Washington, and wow. WOW!!!
Anyways, my point is that whoever you go to, a professional suspension setup/correct springs should on the top of your priority list for mods to your new and/or used bike. Believe me, I was a suspension skeptic.
